PROCEDURE TEXT

A.    A Procedure is a text that give instructions for doing something.

B. The purpose of a Procedure text is to explain how something can be done.

C. The generic structure of procedure text are :

a.       Goal

b.      Materials

c.       Steps

Example :

How to make a glass of coffee

Materials :

1.      Glass                   4. Spoon

2.      Coffee                 5. Boiled water

3.      Sugar

Steps :

1.      First, prepare a glass.

2.      Then, put the coffee and sugar into a glass.

3.      Afte that, add boiled water into the glass.

4.      Then, stir it carefully and a glass of coffee is ready.

B.     Rearrange the sentences into good paragraph.

1.       How to cook instant fried noodle.

a.       Put the cooked noodle into the bowl with seasoning, sweet soy sauce and chili sauce. Mix well.

b.      While the noodle is being cooked, put the seasoning, sweet soy sauce and chili saucein a bowl.

c.       Boil 400 ml (2 glasses) of water in a pan. Add noodle, stir slowly for 3 minutes.

d.      Sprinkle fried crispy onion. Fried noodke is ready to be served.

e.       Take the cooked noodle from the boiling water and drain it.
